Megan

Hi my name is Megan.  I like outdoors, animals and water sports. I don’t like shopping, beetroot and rose thorns as I am allergic to them.  I have an awesome family My Mum is an office administrator,  my Dad is a service manager  and my older sister Amy that is really funny. I live in Hastings (Mayfair) near Hastings theme park Splash Planet.

Hawke's Bay is a great place to live because it doesn't take long to get anywhere. We have parks, skate parks, cycle trails, night markets, cafes, art deco, art galleries, farmers markets on a sunday, we have one of our best loved park called Cornwall park. We have an A and P show  blossom parade horse of the year and a few other things that  we do once a year.I love Te Mata Peak and going up there with Dad we run and walk up the peak. We are known as  the fruit bowl region of New Zealand.

St Mary’s school is a great school it has so many things to offer all of it’s students. There is a sand pit for the new entrants,  playground / fitness track for the intermediates and don't forget our a bike track skills track and pump track for everyone to use.  All our classes have access to  technology and the seniors use chromebooks for their learning and juniors and middle school use ipads.   We go on cool school  camps and school trips and  to get to tech arts. We take a bus to Havelock North Intermediate. Some of the teachers personalities and so funny especially Mrs Neilson our  Religious Education  Teacher. We take on from St Mary Mackillop of the cross and one of her sayings are never see a need without doing anything about it.

These are our school leaders for 2015.
This is John key opening our bike track.
I am the one standing next to Tamaiti one of the news men and the other St Mary’s students at the top of Te Mata Peak.
