Godspell

Lights, Camera, Action. The lights went off and the music started and children appeared on the stairs. The Godspell show had started Lindisfarne and Iona college did a production and we were lucky enough to go and watch it. At the beginning it was awkward because they all looked like zombies and then more appeared and they were in neon colours.

What I liked about the show:

In the show I liked how they were all in time and the songs that had been chosen because they were ones I hadn't heard before. The students are good singers and great actress.

What I didn't like about the show:

The thing I didn't like was that in some parts I couldn't understand it and some of the sounds and words people said were hard to understand.

The Trinity

We have been learning about the Trinity and this symbol is  what I chose because

I was colourful and I like lots of colours.

In side of it we had to make space so we could write God Father,son & holy spirit.

Ready or not here I come.

I looked under the table and …. I found you Lily we ran outside and is there nobody in the tree nope. Anybody in the playhouse? yep.I found you Georgia I knew you were in their   we kept looking and we got to the boat

“Hey road trip by any chance, is there anybody hiding In you”Boo I gave Atalia such a fright that she almost piddled her pants.

Where oh where could they be? my last friend and my sister.

I stopped, I thought, I got it

I ran inside and there was Hannah under the bed.How many is that? 1 2 3 4 so where is Amy?

                                 hmmmmmmmmmmm

Where does she usually hide?

I know in the garden….

But nope she's not there so I thought long and hard about this one. She’s in the hot water cupboard with all the nicely folded clothes I was right.

Vocation Prayer

I glorify you in my mind body and soul. God our father help us to follow you and make sure we don’t make bad choices and that we are gentle kind and loving. We have passed our final steep and we now hold masses so please help us to be good  and help us to grow in God’s love and life.

Please help me to take care of the sick and elderly and the people going through hard times. We thank you for all of our unique  and funny personalities. We thank all the priests that make  us holy and God for giving us his body and blood.

ANZAC Herald

For our study on ANZAC I did a herald on poppies and here it is.

WW1 ANZAC writing

Term 2 has been all about ANZAC.

We have researched, read, written and made final designs. We have made poppies and put them on the outside wall of room 12. We have done lots of researching, lots of poppy making and plenty of work.

Well doing this study I have found out about

9/523 SGT .R.C. Travis VC, DCM, MMM,CDG

Richard Charles Travis Grew up in the United Kingdom and  was in the Army force. He also was in world war 1 from 1914 - 1918 until he was killed by a shellfire on the 25.7.1918 and he was only 43 when he died. He was buried in the British Cemetery. He was the son of James and France and He served in Gallipoli and Egypt.  

In class we drew a poppy dyed it and wrote a poem

and mine is the ODE because it is important to the ANZAC’S.

I have really enjoyed doing this topic because I found out more about ww1 the soldiers trenches and and how they died. The only thing I didn't like about this is that it was hard to find some information because ww1 was a long time ago.
